Social media meets space invaders in this project. On twitter there is a lot of bullying, trolling. But not many people see the pain. We are going to make a mod on space invaders in which you shoot at bully-tweets, using a maKey-maKey.

Goal of the game is twofold: to show the violence that one can experience online, and to teach you what nonense is out there and how to counter this. In the rules of the game we want to include fun twists and turns….we’ll call them bogeys for now. The bogeys will help you learn about how to counter these bullies, how to behave and interact and protect yourself.

• Having more followers means getting more hate speech, so you’ll have more hate tweet on an increasing per level.
• You shoot them down in different ways, in the meantime to show you tools in how to deal with them in real life.
• Maybe throw out facts, gifs, memes who comment on trolling
• You can also call allies.

We will use a maKey-maKey and connect it to a banana and a tomato to use as a gun and shoot down the hate tweets. Of course we are not aiming for general hate, but more sensitive groups of people who have to deal with trolling. We selected sensitive topics like gay rights, women emancipation.
